Dispute Resolution – Business

Our Litigation and Dispute Resolution Team act on behalf of a diverse range of clients, including financial institutions and businesses in the commercial, property and retail sectors.

Whilst we have vast experience of litigating matters through the courts, including the High Court, Commercial Court and Court of Appeal, we also take a commercial approach to dispute resolution. Where possible, we resolve disputes by negotiating settlement or via Alternative Dispute Resolution such as arbitration or mediation.  Paul McDonnell is a certified CEDR Accredited Mediator and given his longstanding experience in legal matters, is perfectly placed to mediate commercial disputes.

We specialise in the following areas:

Commercial Litigation:
We act on behalf of businesses in relation to all types of commercial disputes.

Insolvency:
We act for receivers, liquidators, examiners, trustees in bankruptcy and in relation to bankruptcy proceedings on behalf of creditors.

Property Disputes:
We act on behalf of landlords and tenants in relation to their leasing obligations, and on behalf of property owners in relation to contractual and boundary disputes.

Banking Enforcement:
We act for various banks in relation to judgment proceedings and seeking orders for possession.

Shareholder Disputes:
We act on behalf of companies and shareholders in the event of breakdown of relations, and have acted in cases of oppression taken by minority shareholders.

Employment Matters:
We act on behalf of employers and have extensive experience in representing parties before the Courts, the Labour Court and the WRC, as well as in negotiating exit settlements. We also draft, review and negotiate employment contracts.

Data Protection:
