Paul joined the firm in August 2010 and was made a partner in 2012. Prior to joining Gartlan Furey LLP Paul spent 13 years working in Commercial Litigation and Insolvency with another mid-tier firm. Paul originally practised as a Barrister in both Ireland and in an off-shore location which has given him wide and varied experience in commercial matters.
Paul advises clients in relation to contractual disputes, commercial property disputes, insolvency (with a particular interest on bankruptcy matters), recovery and possession, employment disputes, landlord and tenant disputes and data protection related issues. Paul has acted as Administrator ad litem in various cases.
Paul lectures and tutors in insolvency matters at the Law Society and is a member of the Irish Society of Insolvency Practitioners. He is also a CEDR Accredited Mediator.
